Retainer Terms & Conditions Founding Client

1. Scope of Work

The retainer covers ongoing website support including, but not limited to: content updates, blog/product uploads, minor design tweaks, and new functionality. Large-scale projects (e.g., a full website redesign) fall outside the scope of a retainer and will require a separate project quote.

2. The “Founding Rate” Guarantee

Clients signing up during the launch phase will lock in the Founding Rate (£125 for Half Day / £250 for Full Day) for a minimum of 6 months. After this period, Julia Ferrari reserves the right to adjust rates to the standard retainer price with 30 days’ notice.

3. Booking & Notice Period

  • Advance Booking: All retainer work must be booked via the provided calendar link at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Minimum Increment: The minimum booking slot is a Half Day (3.5 hours).
  • Briefing: A completed questionnaire and all necessary files (images, copy, etc.) must be provided via the Google Drive folder before the booked slot begins. If assets are missing, the slot may be rescheduled, and the time may still be deducted.

4. Rollover Hours

  • Unused hours may be rolled over to the following month.
  • The maximum balance a client can accumulate is 3 full days (21 hours) for full day package.
  • Once the limit is reached, any further unused hours will expire. Hours have no cash value and are non-refundable.

5. Payments & Billing

  • Invoicing: Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Payment must be cleared before work commences.
  • Additional Hours: Any work exceeding the monthly retainer limit will be billed at the discounted rate of £50 per hour, subject to availability.

6. Cancellation & Termination

  • No Minimum Term: As this is a trial service, there is no long-term contract.
  • Notice: You may cancel your retainer at any time with 1 week’s notice prior to your next billing date.
  • Re-joining: Should you cancel and wish to re-join later, the Founding Rate will no longer apply, and a new spot will be subject to current availability.

7. Availability

While I prioritize retainer clients, all work is subject to calendar availability. In the event of illness or planned holiday, I will provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative slots or a temporary pause on billing.
